Many years ago, I needed a sand blaster. An inexpensive syphon feed unit was
over $100.00 Canadian. A sand blaster gun was $15.00. So, I decided to make
one.
I took an old plastic pail and drilled a hole in the base to accept a "T" pipe fitting. I mounted the pail on blocks of wood on an old handcart. To one end of the "T" fitting, I attached a short hose to act as the "draw" line; the other, a 10' hose that lead to the gun. Attach an air line to the gun and presto: a new sandblaster for $15.00 and parts many of you likely have laying around your garages (see pictures). |
